We go to school each day from the end of August until the beginning of June. We have breaks at Christmas and Easter time along with our favorite...Summer Vacation! Let us show you some of what we see, do, and learn during our school days:

We'd like to show our non-English speaking friends what a typical day in the life of a third-grade student at Greentown School looks like. Here is a picture tour of how we spend our days!

In Ohio we have a silly saying about the weather! We say: "If you don't like the weather, just stay around. It will change in a minute!" We say that because we have so many changing seasons. Warm and rainy Spring, hot and muggy Summer, beautiful Fall leaves, and cold, snowy Winter. Our friends in Japan wrote this message to us asking us about our weather:

"All of our US friends. Are you OK? I wounder how strong the wind or how deep is the snow over there. TV show me how COLD in New york and Washington D C. We have no report from Ohio but I hope the storm is not too bad."

Mrs. Knox took pictures of us playing in the snow on the playground today. She stopped taking pictures when we began to throw snowballs at her! (We wouldn't really have hit Mrs. Knox with them...we were just playing!) We would like our friends in India and Japan to see this page of pictures showing our snowy world.

American families keep many types of animals and fish as pets. We have dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, goldfish, horses, lizards.....too many types of pets to list! Mrs. Horn's students love their pets as you can see from these pictures:

When we are not in school we enjoy participating in various sports and hobbies. Here are some pictures and videos to show you what we like to do with our free time.
