By 2025 ---------

* 2 out of 3 people will live in cities.
* Almost 5 billion people (62% of the earth's population) will live in cities.
* 6 out of 10 children born will live in urban cities.

OUR GROWING CITIES

Millions of children are moving to cities. Maybe their parents want to find better jobs there.

Why is it bad for children when a city grows too quickly?

Not enough jobs for their Parents.

Some jobs pay little money.

It is hard to find a place to live in!

So shacks and streets become the homes of thousands of children.

Crowded cities are dangerous -there is no safe place to play. Children get hurt by traffic.
