We began governing ourselves according to the constitution. In Delhi it is a day of great activities and excitement. A grand parade is held. The President of India takes the Salute. All the three wings of our Armed forces - The ARMY, The NAVY and The AIR FORCE participate in this parade. The bands play several patriotic songs.
