Physically and Mentally challenged children

Did you know ????? Upto 5% of children are born with a disability or become disabled during childhood. Yet very few of them receive attention.

About one in three children      under 5 years of age is       malnourished   leading to learning disabilities.

Blindness There are 1.5 million blind children in the world. (Asia - 1m & Africa - 0.3m) Some of our dear friends will never see these           wonders of nature..................

They need to be treated with affection and respect so they can grow up to be useful and respectful adults and improve  the quality of their life.

We went to TAMANNA school (Special school for the physically and mentally challenged) one day . It was a real eye opener. We played and talked with all the children for some time. They were so loving!  They were so much like us! They may not have the same opportunities as us but definitely share the same dream..............................................

Well, we were glad to have made new friends. We must admit that we had never thought about other children who had such problems. We hope to keep visiting them and even invite them to teach us some of the wonderful craft items that they had made.
