Our 6 grade students are working hard with the traditional rice steamer.

Special kind of rice named 'mochi gome"is inside. It is more sticky than regular rice.
No! Never open it before cooked well!

Yes! It's a great fun!!


Which taste do you like. We have "laver","grated radish","soybean powder' and "sweet bean".

It taste very good now. They are still warm and soft.
Enjoy with Miso-soupe with pork and Japanese tea.
We wounder if our rice cake may too sticky for you.
