One day Revin and Yoshimasa started the very interesting discussion.

Yoshimasa says WINTER and Revin says SUMMER. It looks almost a
big fight. Every students are comming back to their seats
and they have only 5 minites to the afternoon class.

Mr.kawakami said "Its is noisy! how about to dicide by DUEL?"
Yoshimasa said "No! this is not such a problem."
Mr.kawakami said "How about JAN-KEN?"
Revin said "No! It is not the way we want."

Then Yoshimasa and Revin start to explain thier question.

Yoshimasa think it is WINTER in Philipine now.
Yoshimasa says" Philipine is located at the north side of the equator".
But nobody knows that word so he need to show the line on a globe and explain it to the class.
Revin said to the class "It is SUMMER anyway because he were in Philipine in Oshougatu time and it was hot there."

<Yoshimasa explains with a grobe>

Nobody in the class can tell which is correct.

Mr.kawakami said "OK. We need vote now"

Every body said "NO" and dicided to write some letters about this problem to Revin's Grand-Pa and our new friends.

Letters Here.

Japanese people knows Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Almost everybody in Japan says we have four seasons but we have some other words which may count as the season. Such as "Tsuyu" in early summer. We have many rainy days at the time.
How do you think to correct the local words which tells about the real idea about the seasons of your place and explain them each other. I think we can learn more about the nature and our life.
