2) conducted completely online
3) aimed at students aged 7-18 years old (in primary and secondary school).
Below are brief descriptions of the two programs available this year. To find out more, click on the titles. To see a bullet point comparison, see "Which program is best for you?"
A challenging, 5-month, multinational Web-based authoring contest for up to 300 primary and secondary schools worldwide. Up to 100 teams, each consisting of three schools from different countries, work together to plan and create their own websites. Results will be judged and prizes awarded. Application and registration period is May 15 through September 24, 2004, with the program running from October, 2004 through March, 2005.
A year-round program where schools can find partners and form cyberspace clubs. Great for classes with beginner Internet/computer experience or limited computer/Internet access. This program offers maximum flexibility -- you can do any Internet project you choose, and at your own pace. The GVC Clubhouse provides interaction with students from many countries and a safe and secure environment for students to interact and work together. Registration begins October 1 (no closing date) and runs year-round.
