4. How to Register a Group

Q1. Is there a way to apply off-line? I have a dialup connection, and it keeps timing out before I can finish filling out the application form. Can I mail the form to you instead?
A1. The new form should not have the same issues as the old database system, but just in case, try filling out the form this way:
  • Access the page, wait for it to display completely then hang up.
  • Fill out the form off-line.
  • Reconnect to the Internet and hit the Submit button.

If you can't fill out the form in less than an hour, type the necessary information into a text editor beforehand, save it, then access the online form and paste in everything quickly.

If you are still having difficulty with the application form after trying these suggestions, contact the GVC Project Manager and we'll figure out a solution.

Q2. Can schools from the same country work together?
A2. It is allowable, but the main goal of this program is to promote collaboration across national borders. The new technology of the Internet makes it possible to reach people in other countries. Schools from all over the world can register in the Clubhouse Participant Matchlist. This list will have information by country, age, language used and topics of interest. The Global Virtual Classroom Clubhouse is a wonderful opportunity to begin an exchange activity between children of different cultures. We hope you'll take advantage of that aspect.
