- Web-based Discussion Forums: Each team uses its own Nicenet Internet Classroom Assistant (ICA) forum. These are password-protected forums limited to team members. ICA forums will be monitored by team teachers and the GVC Project Manager. Participants can exchanges messages through this Web interface.
- FTP/WWW Server: Each Global Virtual Classroom team will be provided with its own private directory on a WWW (World Wide Web) server. Each school will have an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) account and password, and will be responsible for maintaining its own team's Web directory.
